Annual Healthy Village Festival returns to kick-off Celebrate Downtown Summer Event Series

Richmond, CA—Richmond Main Street Initiative is proud to announce the return of Celebrate Downtown, an annual campaign consisting of special events hosted in Downtown Richmond. First up is Healthy Village Festival on Saturday, June 24. Other signature events include Music on the Main, July 26 and August 23.  The series ends with the Spirit & Soul Festival on Macdonald Ave. on Saturday, September 16, from 1-5pm.

From 10am – 1pm the Community Green Space park (located at Harbour Way and Macdonald Avenue) and the 900 block of Macdonald Avenue will turn into a one-stop health fair, offering health and wellness resources amidst a family-friendly festival atmosphere. Activities will include a produce giveaway, cooking demonstrations, vendors, info booths, Zumba breaks, pony rides, and arts and crafts activities. Additionally, guests can enjoy the Bike Zone hosted by Rich City Rides, and hang out with the Richmond Fire Department.
