This week starts on a bittersweet note, still feeling the warm and fuzzy vibes of hosting our first ribbon cutting of 2020 and welcoming Rich City Apparel. Rich City Apparel is the official licensed apparel company for the City of Richmond. Located in the Downtown Richmond Visitor Center, at Richmond Transit Station, Rich City Apparel offers apparel featuring unique designs inspired by local landmarks and neighborhoods. The shop will also soon carry souvenir items and products from local makers.

This week we are also coming to terms with the closure of Hacienda Grill, a beloved Downtown institution, in December. Brothers Javier and Jose Padilla proudly served the Richmond community for over fifteen years. For many years, Hacienda Grill was the only full service restaurant in Downtown and a favorite spot for residents, workers, and groups. Richmond Main Street loved Hacienda Grill, too! We catered countless meetings with Hacienda Grill and honored Jose as a Downtown Champion in 2017. Join us in thanking Hacienda Grill for many years of supporting the Richmond community with delicious food and heartfelt generosity.
