Last week’s Downtown Holiday Festival was truly magical.
For four hours the East Bay Center was filled with laughter, holiday cheer, and joy.
In addition to the annual festivities that we all look forward to (Santa! and A Richmond Nutcracker), this year’s event included some new features that were a big success: LifeLong Medical Care and the Census Bureau joined Kaiser Richmond’s Ask a Doc to offer valuable resources to participants.
And a cheerful snow family popped up near the coloring station, providing a pop of whimsy and the perfect holiday selfie scenario.
We offer huge thanks to the generous support of our co-hosts, East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, our sponsors–Mechanics Bank, LifeLong Medical Care, and Sims Metal Management–and community partners: City of Richmond, NIAD Art Center, Kaiser Richmond, West County Reads, Friends of the Richmond Public Library, RPAL, individual donors and our fabulous Main Street volunteers.
