With the surprise May showers in the rear view mirror, Neighborhood Ambassadors Mary and Deonte began tackling the biggest Spring cleaning task last Thursday: weeding! They made good progress eliminating weeds and overgrowth from fence lines, tree wells, and planters along Macdonald Avenue. This week they are tackling overgrowth in the MetroWalk area and Nevin Avenue.

Mary & Deonte are Richmond residents and have been part of our team for many years, working hard to keep Downtown looking its best. Thank you Mary and Deonte!

The Neighborhood Ambassador program is made possible by the Downtown Richmond Property and Business Improvement District (DRPBID), a public-private partnership managed by Richmond Main Street Initiative (RMSI) and funded by annual assessments on commercial and non-profit housing parcels. DRPBID funds pay for services and activities designed to make Downtown economically viable, safe, and attractive.
