About
Take your business to the next level with NxLevel® for Existing Businesses. This 7-week, 21-hour course is specifically designed for entrepreneurs who want to expand an existing business and need the skills to make it grow. It’s been proven that the entrepreneur who plans is the entrepreneur who succeeds!
 
During this course, participants will develop a comprehensive business plan to act as the road map for future growth, craft strategies to develop new markets and/or processes, have access to invaluable resources.
 
Required prerequisite: Jump Start Your Business Action Planning Workshop
Participants must register and submit course payment by deadline.

NxLevel Small Business Planning Workshop*

About
A free, hands-on 2-day workshop with a focus on business and strategic planning for existing and aspiring business owners: Learn to effectively articulate your mission statement; Create a sustainable vision plan for the future; Create an effective strategy to complete stated goals.
 
Participants must attend the first day in order to attend the second session.

We strive to realize this goal through a number of collaborative programs, such as our Richmond Business Bites workshops and our annual Summer Youth Entrepreneur Program, which provide business training to entrepreneurs and youth job seekers, respectively. We actively work with local business owners and entrepreneurs who are looking to take their businesses to the next level. Learn the basics of how to start a business! In this 3-hour workshop, aspiring business owners will learn the attributes of a successful entrepreneur, invaluable sources of information regarding the proper ways to start a business, licenses and permits, the business planning process, key information for developing a business plan, and how to take advantage of the Small Business Development Center’s FREE and low-cost services.

Whether you need help developing or revising your business plan, acquiring financing, finding a storefront space, or accessing other business resources, we are here to help!
