Are you a fan of live music and outdoor concerts? Do you like working behind-the-scenes at events? If you answered “yes” then helping out at our 16th annual Music on the Main summer concerts is for you!



Event Dates: Wednesday, July 26 & Wednesday, August 23

Event Time: 5pm – 7:30pm

Volunteers Needed: 3pm – 8:30pm (2 shifts: 3pm – 6pm & 6pm – 8:30pm)


Volunteers will help with setting up, running, and cleaning-up after the event. Activities may include tasks related to: Venue Set-Up; Making Produce Bags; Managing Vendor & Volunteer Check-In; Monitoring Traffic & Parking; Conducting Surveys; Hosting Youth Zone Activities & Giveaway Stations; Backstage Manager; Venue Clean-Up.


Additional Details, Requirements & Preferences

  • No prior experience needed. Orientation and training provided onsite by staff.
  • Small groups or pairs encouraged! Community service hours honored.
  • Minimum Participation: 2 hours, please; 3 hours preferred.
  • Minimum Age: 16, unless accompanied by guardian or approved by event coordinator
  • Interests: Community, Arts & Culture, Special Events, Youth
  • Skills: Customer service, Bilingual language (English/Spanish, English/Chinese) a plus; Ability to stand for extended periods of time and/or lift 30 pounds preferred.
